"An artistry in lighting – that is what designer Johan Carpner built up the last year. No lamp resembles another – from flaring graphical creations to rustic copper work. His greatest work so far is this year's Luchsia, a multi-shaded textile lamp, which mixes retro influences and asian tones with a tongue in cheek humorous ball fringe. He says he "dared more than ever" when he designed it. We want to see more of that courage." Residence

BEAM
A giant spotlight. This pendant lamp creates a comfortable, soft work light and the armature can be directed to mark places and create events in the room. Group several armatures in different lengths for a vivid, varied ambient lighting.

LUCHSIA
Luchsia's strong and spirited personality brightens any room and gives a pleasant light. The lamp is comprised of three composite screens in various sizes, each created from a different fabric and structure. When light hits the inner screen, made from a pale yellow fabric, the result is a warm diffusion - perfect for the modern CFL bullb (which emits blueish hued light). The triple-pleated shade gives many different interplays of light and shadow. The outer screen has a ball fringe to enhance shape and character. Luchsia is available in three different colorways.
